Keep the energy vampires at bay
Life gives, it doesn’t suck. But people, places and processes can suck your energy, causing depression, despondency and despair. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Changing a life from urine-coloured coy crap to Golden Koi Carp requires changing just one thing.
Life has supplied you with energy, which it continues to supply you. Such energy gives you a natural high. But if the energy gets sucked away then you will have an insufficient amount to ‘do your life’. People who don’t have enough energy want to steal your supply or ruin it. Identifying energy suckers is a complex task because energy vampires often wear disguises. Sometimes they don’t even know they’re doing it. And if you’ve made yourself a sitting duck, a regular venue for energy sucking addicts, then shaking them off will not be easy at first as suckers can be persistent. To paraphrase Jesus: ‘when an unclean spirit is taken out of a man, it will return with 7 of its friends unless replaced by something holy’. The good news is that they tire easily.
What is it that you need to know and do to make you whole and holy? How can you stay high on your own energy supply? And how can you avoid being an energy sucker?
Living in harmony with yourself is one big way not to lose energy. In fact, when you follow nature’s divine design, your energy will increase in situations where ordinarily you would expect to lose it (as not all energy is derived from the physical world). Our strength comes from being and doing the right thing. When you are steadfastly following your natural life path then you have natural immunity from the most basic and common energy suckers. And as you progress, you will notice more complex energy suckers. A person who wants to give and serve does not always notice that their powers and gifts are being used and abused.
It’s important to protect your energy supply so that you can do what you came here to do. The quality of your life will improve by leaps and bounds as it moves from a negative deficit to a positive excess. That excess will allow you to do your mission and more. As Jesus said – you will do even greater work than Him.
Does this sound like a good deal? Now you can understand why God and His Angels will be nonplussed by the expression “Life sucks!”
