Pre-Event Description

In this event, we investigate the false identity’s knee-jerk reactions against awakening—its many kicks against the pricks, the pokes, and the prods that threaten to disturb its slumber. Warning: Depicts actual and imagined ego stress positions. Not for the fainthearted.

The false identity is in pain. Like an addict, it will ask for a remedy, but won’t take it. The addiction of the false identity is to itself. Yes, like Narcissus, the false identity is in love with itself. It is inconceivable that it would give itself up quietly, without trying to going out in a blaze of glory and taking its host down. Mutually Assured Destruction.

As a seeker desirous of awakening, you find yourself in a conundrum.

No one wants to wake up. They only think they want to. To wake up means that the one thinking they want to wake up will disappear, in other words, die, become annihilated, cease to exist. Don’t panic. It is not the end of you, just your false identity. Life, though, will never be the same again.

Book it now, never look back.
